Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) Clinic - Interior Health

Clinics throughout IH that identify and treat transient ischemic attacks (TIA).
TIA Rapid Access Clinics identify and treat transient ischemic attacks (TIA), helping to prevent a full-blown stroke. A nurse contacts the patient for a detailed history after the referral is received, confers with the specialist, and arranges diagnostic tests and patient appointments. Patients meet with a stroke specialist for assessment and treatment.
